Holiday Fountain Lights

Camtistic

A beautiful December evening in South Florida. It's really the place to be this time of year. Locals take for granted that Christmas lights on palm trees is not your typical setup when celebrating the holiday. The other night I decided to capture some holiday lights around places I drive through every day. The wonderful thing about photography is you become more in tune with sights, lights, shadows and shapes. You develop and appreciate an extra sense that goes beyond just seeing simply things.

I didn't expect perfect photos to be quite honest. These photos were taken in under 2 minutes and without a tripod, so ideally, if we really wanted high quality shots, time and tripod would have been high priority. That's the marvelous thing about digital photography these days, back in day, this type of quick photography in low light would not have been possible.
